The Crafters Hive Marketplace

The Crafters Hive Market Place provides a website for independent sellers to showcase and sell their unique, handcrafted products.  However, to ensure a smooth experience, please note the following policies and responsibilities:

1. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are fully responsible for all aspects of their sales, including product fulfillment, shipping, customer service, and tax.  The Crafters Hive Market Place  operates under a "tax included in price" model, meaning the seller is responsible for calculating and including all applicable taxes with in the product prices. 

2. Tax Collection and Remittance

The Crafters Hive Marketplace does not collect or remit taxes on behalf of sellers.  Each seller is responsible understanding and fulfilling their own tax obligations based on their sales and state requirements.  The Crafters Hive Marketplace is not liable for any tax reporting, collection or remittance of seller transcations.  That is the sole responsibility of the seller.  

3. Shipping and Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for shipping products in a timely manner.  The Crafters Hive Marketplace is not involved in shipping or handling any products sold on the marketplace. Shipping is based on USPS Zone 6 pricing.

4. Customer Relations and Satisfaction

Any and all customer issue, such as returns or exchanges but be resolved direclty between the seller and the customer.  The Crafters Hive Marketplace is not liable for customer satisfaction or any claims related to the products sold.  

5. Independent Seller-Customer Relationships

The relationship between the seller and customer is independent of The Crafters Hive Marketplace.  We are a hosting website only and do not participate in transactions beyond providing a marketplace for discovery.  

6. All Sales are Final unless seller has made other arrangments with the customer.

Q: Who can sell in the market place?

A: Any one who makes hand made crafts

Q: What is the cost to join?

A: Currently there is not a membership fee.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: Payouts are done weekly.

Q: What percentage of my sales goes to the marketplace?

A: 5%

Q: How many items can I list?

A: 50 total, 25 per week.

Q: Where does the marketplace advertise?

A: Across several social media platforms and using Google SEO.

Q: Will I actually make sales?

A: That depends on how you effectively promote yourself.

Q: Do I get my own URL?

A: Yes, you can, $25 a month to have your own URL and store.

Q: Who pays the taxes on sales?

A: Sellers are responsible for including tax in their list prices, referred to as “tax included model” of selling.

Q: Return Policy?

A: The marketplace does not allow returns. Returns are handled by seller and buyer.

Q: Shipping?

A: Seller is responsible for shipping in a timely manner. The marketplace uses USPS shipping guide for Zone 6.
